Her relationship with Minato, however, is the most crucial aspect of her character development.

Her opinions about friendships and companionship begin to change through her interactions with other characters and she comes to understand the power of teamwork and unity and that nobody can do everything by themselves, no matter how strong and talented they might be. From that moment, Tsukiumi begins to change.Īt first, she only sees the other Sekirei, especially Musubi, as rivals for Minato's affections, but in time, she starts to see them as friends and starts to enjoy their company, even if it's for the sake of competition. Her character development begins when she meets Minato and joins his harem. She is obessed with strength and wants to become the strongest Sekirei without claiming an Ashikabi, which is born from a belief that her self-worth will diminish if she is forced to rely on someone else to become powerful. Tsukiumi enters the story as a very aggressive person who rarely smiles. There are plenty of things I love about Tsukiumi, such as the beautiful figure, her amazing water powers, her strength of will and the vocal talents of both Marina Inoue and Lydia Mackay, but what my favorite aspects about her are both her character development and her relationships with Minato. This my first Sekirei -related deviation, so I dedicated to make it about Tsukiumi, my favorite character in the show.
